I volunteered to rebrand a non-profit organisation called Plastic Free Hackney. I have chosen a four palette colour scheme. With a deep-rooted devotion to reduction, I like the idea for living with less and the serenity in simplicity. The overtones of geometry and purity tend to take shape in my designs. The logo includes a plastic bottle in the sea. As you can see, the two logos can be used separately; with the typeface & without.

Plastic Free Hackney already has hints of purple and blue in it is already existing ‘logo’. Hence, I stayed within the colour scheme; subtle purple and combination of blues. Overall, the palette is playful and aesthetically pleasing. The logo mimics the clockwise recycle sign; I wanted a minimalist approach, where the logo can be easily planted onto commercial products.

The abstract patterns consist of leafy patterns, fishes and free flowing waves. These can be used on social media sites and the website, as headers and emails, as a background or boarders. The font used in the logo is Avenir Medium. Avenir has three different weights. and is an organic typeface with a geometrical subtle style.
